The Mark IV mini was first introduced in 1976. It was available in three body variations, all of which were 2 door models. They were the saloon, the van, and the truck. These vehicles were made readily available to disabled motorist under the motability scheme in 1978. Offering multiple engines such as the 848 cc, 970 cc, 997 cc, 998 cc, 1,071 cc, 1,098 cc, and the 1,275 cc A-series I4. 3 Transmission options and multiple body layouts it is a very versatile adaptable car. The Vehicle was featured in Mr. Bean, which was a British TV sitcom. It originally aired on January 1st 1990. The show ran until December of 1995. Centered on a character who was best described as a "child in a grown mans body" who solves various everyday tasks and causes mayhem and disruption in the process. While running over the course of five years the show gained a large audience and widespread following. Inspiring and animated spin off and 2 theatrical feature films. As the show uses very little intelligible dialogue it was appealing to many audiences who little to no English.
